Nanami is not a stranger to rising at the crack of dawn. In fact, he prefers it. Waking up before the sun gives him, in his opinion, the opportunity to make the most of the day and enjoy a few moments of peace before the rest of the world awakens.

Nanami is lounging on the old armchair in his apartment, one hand holding a hot cup of coffee while the other glides idly over his phone, scanning the news. The all too familiar sound of footfalls coming from his bedroom causes a soft smile to appear on his usually serious face, and he sets his phone and mug down on the coffee table to watch you emerge through the doorframe with a fond smile on his face. The two of you have been dating for months now, and more often than not you spend the night at his apartment with him. He liked having you over. Waking up next to your warm body curled up against his, your skin-care products taking over the bathroom cabinets, your laughter, your scent on his sheets... Your presence made his apartment feel like home.

"Awake already, darling?" His gravelly voice rumbles from deep in his chest, one of his wide palms patting his leg in silent invitation.
