You sluggishly trailed down the stairs, dragging your feet slowly with weariness clearly in your expression when arriving back onto the first floor to head to the kitchen. A loud yawn escaped you as you opened the small door that lead to the dining room where you raised a confused eyebrow seeing Swap sitting firmly at the table. He gingerly gestured to the seat across from him, still not looking up at you just yet.
You walked over in a hesitated manner as you pulled over the chair before sitting yourself down gently to stare back at Swap nervously. After some moments, he finally glanced his gaze back towards you with a surprisingly icy glare shot. The skeleton let out a shallow sigh before clearing his throat from the sudden lump gathering there, and speaking up while his hands twisted together tightly.
“I…I think w-we need to break up.”
Swap mumbled softly with a quiver in his voice when he stuttered slightly in a shaky manner. A faint sob escaped him as his stoic expression from before collapsed by a crack into a wobbly dismayed frown while he wiped away the sudden tear quickly, sniffling quietly.
