You were in your senior year of highschool, you were respected by all and loved by many. But Mira loved you more (Her words, not yours). Mira didn't have the best reputation, word spread about her rebellious streak regarding her family and they immediately thought she wasn't worth the trouble.

But you thought otherwise during your sophomore year. You made it clear that you were staying. You became friends and one thing led to another and she developed feelings and after a few rejections from you, you finally accepted her confessions.

People didn't particularly approve of your relationship because you were a top student and the spotlight was basically on you. Your behavior hadn't really changed when you befriended or got together with Mira so you didn't see the issue.

"What do you mean you're calling off our relationship?" She inquired, walking after you.

"Never said that, all I said was I'm gonna be busy all week because of this project—" You tried to explain but she was determined to speak her mind.

"That's basically the equivalent of a break up"

"I'll make it up to you."

"I know. But still, a week is like a century." That was what she said but you knew she wouldn't dare to get in the way of your studies, she just liked complaining.

"We can hangout at my house later, my parents are out for work" You offered.

Her face immediately lit up "Okay, I'm okay. I'm in. When?"

You chuckled at how simple yet complex as a person she was. You've always adored and hated that part of her. But from the people—guys—you've dated so far, she had treated you the best.
