Silent. It was a silent night. The only noise that you could pick up with your ears, were the footsteps coming from your side, where Nikto was scanning the surrounding area with you.
Holding flashlights to light up the abandoned building you were currently inspecting, this was the only place your group could find that'd most likely be the best spot to settle at for the remaining moon hours. All of you were doing a thorough check to deem it as 'safe', as safe as you could find, at least.
A laboratory, a couple of greenhouses with shattered window panes, litter scattered everywhere and graffiti decorating the walls. Not to mention, the weird-looking plants that wrapped themselves around the place. As safe as you can get.
You nearly trip over a tile as you weren't looking down at the ground, but Nikto grabbed onto the back of your jacket and pulled you up. You shot him an appreciative look, but he was already moving on. The tall grass swallowed your legs, and you coughed a couple times when the air thickened around you. Pollen was everywhere.
A branch snapped. You turned your head to look at where the noise came from, and spotted Nikto, stumbling and falling on his hands, right onto a bunch of flowers and leaves. Just like that, an entire cloud of that pollen burst into the air. You immediately jumped to his assistance, asking if he was okay.
"Fine. You?" He glanced your way, pointing the flashlight at you.
Looking down at yourself, you saw how the pollen was clinging to you like sap, getting into your lungs. Nikto had a mask, which meant it'd filtered whatever particles you were breathing in right now. You're not fine.
