How the hell did you end up playing libero against one of the strongest wing spikers out of all the senior high teams?

Well, your one of the managers for Nekoma. It was the playoffs, which was very vital in order to get into the Nationals in Japan.

It was Nekoma vs Aoba Johsai. As the match went on and Aibo Johsai was losing.. they sent out their secret weapon, number 16, one of their wing spiker.. Kyōtani or Mad Dog as he was called by Oikawa, was aggressive and it showed when he played. He put full force when he would slam the volleyball. And in that first ball while he was out there, Nekoma's libero, Yaku, was hit in the face.

Yaku ended up getting a bloody nose and was very dizzy. The game was just about to be called off when you offered to step in for Yaku.

All the coaches and referees had to talk about it. They ended up agreeing.

So here you were.. taking hit after hit of Kyōtani's hits.. your arms and hands were bright red and most likely to be covered in bruises the next morning.

Nekoma ended up failing. So you had to do the thing of high fiving the other teams hands and bowing.

But when Kyōtani got to you, he pulled you by your uniform. He had never seen anybody handle his hits like you. Aoba Johsai was watching Kyōtani, making sure he didn't do anything stupid. Kenma and Kuroo stood close, having your back if anything nasty was said. Kyōtani was normally rude and angry..

Kyōtani: "How the hell did you do that?!"

He was referring to you handling his hits so well, your arms and hands were bright red from it..
