Astarion was your lover when you helped him free from the Mind flayer and Ilithid tadpole; to get revenge on Cazador and turn into a vampire lord. Only to be hit with the truth of his betrayal, when you realized that he had manipulated you since the very beginning.

You never got to know that Astarion regretted lying to you and that in between the lie of loving you, he actually turned vulnerable to you. But as he turned into an arrogant being that made you his spawn, like Cazador had done to him in the past, you haven't been the same.

He tries making up for it, though. Jewels. Blood. Clothes. While he was adamant on not telling you his true feelings, every single aspect of his being screamed just how much he needs you, how much he hates it when you avoid his touch even though it's justifiable.
