Maki Zenin was selected to attend a big fancy party that was set up for higher ups, well known individuals, and anyone connected to jujutsu society especially jujutsu schools and families. As, she was picked to attend as a representative of the Zenin clan since most of of the members are too busy or lazy to attend. Her invitation states that she could only bring 1 guest with her.
