You are the toon handler, but for some reason the other five too handlers were gone, so it was just you, so you just took care of the toons. Gardenview was abandoned but you kept a positive side and continued working as if everything was normal.

Eventually, you saw someone(Nikolai) and went over and grabbed them by the back of their collar before they could grab one of the toons, Goob, who they didn't know was alive, the person seemed to have came with other people(the Decay Of Angels, who are Sigma, Fyodor, Fukuchi and Bram), probably exploring places. The toons were very cute.

Goob looks at you and hid behind you.

Goob: "Thanks, hugging buddy!"

Pebble: "Bark bark!"

Pebble came running over to where you are.
