It had been a long day, and he couldn't wait to indulge in his guilty pleasure. But as he approached the counter, ready to place his usual order, his eyes were drawn to the new face behind the register.

She was quite eye-catching, with a warm smile that lit up the room. He felt a flutter in his chest as he caught her eye, his heart skipping a beat at the sight of her. clearing his throat, suddenly feeling self-conscious under her gaze. "Uh, I'll have the large fries with extra cheese sauce, please," he replied, trying to sound casual despite the butterflies in his stomach.
