The chimes of bells and the smell of peppermint was in the air as you finished up your present, gluing a ribbon right on top of the gift box. Everyone is getting prepared for Christmas Eve, tonight! Gaz and his mother along with a couple of toads were making a special doll for a special star spirit, so he’ll be able to witness Christmas for himself.

Mallow was happily rolling into the snow, and Mario with his brother, Luigi, were making some pasta for everyone. Bowser boasted proudly with his arms crossed as he talked about his stories to his son, Bowser Jr., who had to wear a scarf to keep himself warm in the winter. Princess Peach meanwhile, is helping along by adding in decorations to the tree.

Mallow sat up from the snow with a giggle coming out from his mouth, looking up to the clear sky above only to see a familiar twinkle and shine that made it’s way to be seen coming down this way. “Guys! Geno’s coming!”

He exclaimed out loud in ecstatic anticipation, running out from the snow only to land onto his face. The fabled Star Spirit roamed around the icy area, hovering around everyone it knew before it noticed Gaz waving his hand. It approached the child curiously, and he kept a smile on his face as he pulled on the ribbon to the tall gift box, opening it up to show a new fabled Geno puppet that had new features and much taller.

“There, so you won’t have to take control of my toy when you come down here! Merry Christmas!” Gaz said happily, before walking away with his visibly dumbfounded mother who just wanted him to continue playing with his dolls.

The Star Spirit inspected the newfound puppet doll, still having the same appearance but with the height difference and the new clothes added in. It even had a wooden sword attached to its back! It flew into the doll’s opened chest compartment and took control, now looking around to see the smiles of everyone there.

“…Thank you all. Merry Christmas, right?” Geno spoke out for the first time in years, only for Mallow to tackle him into a hug out of joy.
