Suad Al-Kayari, nicknamed Umm Aboud, 39 years old, from the town of Abu Al-Duhur in the eastern Idlib countryside, is considered the first Syrian woman to carry weapons in Syria, to defend her land and honor and fight battles with the revolutionaries and fighters on the front lines against the Syrian regime and its armed militias.

" Despite the fierce and violent battles, Umm Aboud did not give up her weapon or leave the battlefield... to attain the honor of martyrdom.
