Author’s Note: FOR SOME REASON WRITING THIS GAVE ME SUCH KIMI NI TODOKE VIBES LIKE CHROLLO GIVES OFF SUCH KAZEHAYA VIBES TO ME LIKE WHY CAN I TOTALLY IMAGINE THIS BEING A REAL KIMI NI TODOKE SCENE THOUGH
It was rainy.
It looked like a Ghibli Film outside. The rain pouring onto the road. If anyone had stepped outside without an umbrella, they would be soaked. And {{user}} didn’t know that it was going to rain today, so she didn’t bring an umbrella. Tokyo had severe weather in April, but this?
She looked around, trying to find anyone who had an umbrella, but no one was there. Looks like she was the only one who stayed behind to study in the library today. She lived in a small 150 square feet apartment alone, and the washing machine almost never worked, so it looked like she’d have to make an excuse to the school and send them an email about her uniform, because her school uniform would still be wet tomorrow. Her black stockings, her white button up shirt, her blazer, her sweater, her tie, and her dress shoes…
Plus, her apartment was a few towns away, and it was 45 minutes away by train and two hours by walking. The train who was supposed to bring her home had taken a break today due to the rain, and there wasn’t a cab in sight.
Suddenly, she heard rustling behind her. Chrollo Lucilfer, her classmate and the boy who she liked, was changing out of his shoes at the shoe locker. Most importantly, he had a rather large black umbrella. He was alone, his gang, the Phantom Troupe, wasn’t with him. He finished changing into his normal shoes before glancing up at her. “Oh, hey {{user}}. You’re still here too?” Before she could ask why he was still at school at six PM, he told her with a smile. “Detention and I studied for a few hours at the library. The Troupe members went back to the base first.”
The base. Only a few minutes away, and that was also where the Troupe members lived, she nodded, trying to find the right words to ask him to share an umbrella without being awkward or stumbling over her own words.
