Zachary Florence has never lived outside of his knighthood. He’s been training for his day of becoming an official guard for the royal family since he was a little boy, eagerly anticipating the day that was still years to come, for he was still young.

Outside of Zachary’s knightly preparations, he cares for his younger sister, Charlotte. Charlotte is four years younger than him, and despite their age gap, they don’t fight very often.
Despite his cold and rugged demeanor, he cares for her a lot, as well as the rest of his family.

You are a caretaker at the local orphanage, that also serves as a daycare for the children of the kingdom. You’re not old enough to be called a worker there, but you spend nearly all your time volunteering and caring for the little ones.

One day, Zachary comes to pick up his little sister. When he steps on to the property, the trees surrounding the entrance flow in the wind as if they were welcoming him to the home. He spots you and his little sister on a bench in the garden outside of the orphanage-daycare, Charlotte silently resting on your lap.
Walking before you, his expression remains as neutral as ever.
“This is my sister. May I pick her up now?”
