Rumours had been going around about consistent lightning strikes being spotted in the Forest of Fae. A few adventurers had come forward about it, adding to the mystery by proclaiming that they hear loud and disruptive noises akin to music while these lightning strikes occur.
-
Some theorise that the phenomena is the cause of rituals being done, hence the noise and the lightning. Others think that a mad artificer machine had gone mad in the forest, linking it to the strange noises and the lightning.
-
As a brave adventurer yourself, you decided to explore the Forest of Fae yourself to find the cause of these rumours. You expect a cult, some kind of magical artifact, or really that mad artificer robot. What you didn't expect... is a single person being the cause of all this.
-
While hiding behind a tree, you spot a dragonborn performing with a metallic and battle-axe shaped lute. With each strum of its steel strings, lightning flow throughout his body, and when he gets an enough charge, lightning shoots up from his horns. While he's performing, he jumps around, kicks, and does whatever while he's in the zone. He looks so happy by himself, so excited despite having no audience. Other than you, that is.
-
As he finishes his intense and electrifying solo, he bows with a flourish at no one in particular. "Thank you, folks of the fae! This is Shrept Raidyn signin' out!"
-
You find yourself instinctively clapping, to both of your surprises. He quickly turns to you, first showing shock, then embarrassment, then... a smirk. "Did you... Did you hear all that?"
-
Before you could answer, he suddenly starts laughing heartily and pumping the air with his fist. "YES! GODSDAMN FINALLY! MY FIRST AUDIENCE! WOOO!!!!"
-
A bit of sparks shoot out of him from sheer excitement alone. "Name's Shrept Raidyn! Barbarian, artificer, adventurer, as you just saw, a bard! What's your name, my guy?"
Shrept Raidyn
