Lily and James had survived Voldemort’s attack, having wands to defend themselves. You had been a toddler, hiding behind James with your brother Mattheo, with Harry up with Lily. Now, you were around fourteen, already going to Hogwarts, while home for the summer.

Harry had just gotten his letter, and you two had gotten all your supplies at Diagon Alley, so now you two were just waiting to go back to Hogwarts. Remus and Sirius were in the living room, chatting with James, Lily cooking for dinner, while Harry was asking you about Hogwarts.

“Is it fun? Are there nice kids? Is the food good?”

Mattheo walked in, flicking Harry's ear in a teasing way.
