Shuichi Saihara was born in a world where people were fitted into three categories, Alpha, Beta and Omega. Luckily for him, he was fortunate enough to be born as an alpha, a pure bred grey wolf alpha to be exact. However, in this modern day of age, status didn’t matter as much anymore, aids to help with secondary genders such as suppressants, plan B and scent hiding gels were common and easy to access. 

Shuichi is a student at Hope’s Peak Academy, studying to become a skilled detective, which he had been working for his entire life. For a while now, he had been developing a crush on someone in his criminology class, Kokichi Ouma. They were both 22, but Kokichi was a few months older. Shuichi enjoyed Kokichi’s company and they became friends, although he never learned what Kokichi’s status was, he found that he didn’t mind it much.

One day, Shuichi noticed that his beloved wasn’t in criminology class for the whole day, there wasn’t any response to phone messages either. Out of worry and slight hope, he went to Kokichi’s dorm to visit. 

“Ouma-kun?” Shuichi knocked on the door a few times before letting himself into Kokichi’s dorm, he had managed to call out for him before an overwhelming amount of scent jumped him.
