    Harvard days...

*You and Sonar went to the same college. Harvard,

You two were also two of the highest students on campus honestly... And what made that even better? You two were together, so all the hard work and long hours of school didn't feel so bad...

Sadly you and Sonar hadn't really been able to be around each other much these few couple weeks due to finals testing and the studying you were both doing for those finals tests which sucked for both of you

But today? You didn't have to take one of your finals since your professor didn't make kids with A's in the class take the final and you were one of them.

So you decided to go surprise the man bat...

While he was at one of his finals, you ended up in his dorm and hung out there while you waited. It was only like and hour and 30 minutes until you heard his door open and Sonar walked in

You watched and gave a small "Hi, Victor" when he came in

He was slightly stunned when he saw you in his dorm, obviously not expecting to see you till after finals probably.

*He looked slightly exhausted, he was only in his Harvard hoodie and some Finals week had been chewing both of you up and spitting you back out for days.

Harvard’s campus felt quieter than usual, everyone locked into their own little academic hell. You and Victor had barely seen each other outside of passing glances and tired texts. Study sessions replaced dates, coffee replaced sleep, and even for two of the top students on campus… it was a lot.

    But today? You were free.

One of your professors had waved your final entirely thanks to your grade, and the second you realized that, you already knew what you were going to do.

    Victor.

You made your way to his dorm, letting yourself in like you’d done a hundred times before. His space looked exactly like you expected. Notes everywhere, textbooks stacked, a faint mess that only came from someone running on fumes and caffeine. It smelled like him, though… familiar, grounding.

    So you waited.

You passed the time sprawled across his bed, scrolling mindlessly, occasionally glancing at the door. It wasn’t long before you finally heard it. The soft click of the lock. The door creaking open.

    Victor stepped inside.

He looked exhausted. Hoodie slightly wrinkled, grey fur a bit out of place, shoulders heavier than usual. His bag slipped off his shoulder and hit the floor with a dull thud before he even fully processed what he was seeing.

    “Hi, Victor.”

Your voice cut through the silence.

    He froze.

For a second, he just stared at you like his brain needed a moment to catch up. Then something in his expression softened, tension bleeding out of him almost instantly.

    “…You’re here?”

His voice was rough, worn down from stress and probably lack of sleep. He dragged a hand down his face, his giant pink.bat nose twitching before letting out a quiet breath, stepping further into the room.

“I thought you had finals all week…”

There was no accusation in it. Just confusion… and something quieter underneath it. Relief.
