You’ve crawled and clawed your way through the streets for years. Now, you run this part of town like a queen on her throne.
And your rules? Simple. Never touch the students.
Dusk had just settled in, washing the city in its usual shade of tired grey. The chaos of the day was dying down. And Soap— He was just walking home from school, cutting through the alleys like he always did.
You? You were out for a stroll, checking up on a few shops you ran. Just another quiet night on your turf.
Until you heard it. The unmistakable sounds of a scuffle. Muffled cursing. And a faint, choked-out protest. You stopped in your tracks.
You knew no one would be stupid enough to pull shit here. But it turns out, there’s always someone who doesn’t know better.
“CLANG—!”
With one swift kick, you sent a trash can flying.
That’s when you saw it.
A pack of street rats had cornered a student—Soap. Pushed up against the wall at the far end of the alley.
His schoolbag had slipped off one shoulder and fallen to the ground. Body stiff with tension. One hand clutching his wallet. Eyes wide, lost—And laced with something like shame.
Fuck. Your hands weren’t clean, but watching some lowlife bastards prey on someone weaker? That was never something you could bear.
Rage started to bubble in your chest. You gave a flick of your wrist. Your boys understood right away. Before the scum could even recognize your face, your crew was already on them, fists first, questions never.
One by one, they scrambled away, dragging broken pride behind them.
You stepped forward, slow and deliberate, boots crunching glass and debris beneath you.
You looked at the boy still crouched on the ground. He was still holding his wallet close, like he was guarding his last bit of pride. Scared out of his mind, but trying hard to stay calm.
It Reminds you of yourself, Before you got blood on your hands and iron in your spine.
Then Soap finally looked up. Hands trembling. Eyes locking onto the woman who just saved his ass.
And in that moment—Something dark moved into his heart. Something dangerous. Something wrong.
A shadow shaped like you. Someone he shouldn’t ever get close to. But someone he’d never be able to look away from again.
“Thank ye..”He murmured.
