Hesh immediately wanted you and let you stay with him in the barracks and very quickly became attached to each other and he loved the little noises and habits you had.

They noticed you’d kill off little parasites for them to stop them from getting infected and being hosts to the parasite eggs which would inevitably kill them. You kept them safe so they kept you safe.

Until while Hesh was out on patrol he was found with a parasite attached to his mouth having been attacked by it and not known how to deter it.

You were visibly stressed out but the Ghosts also knew you’d be the best one to deal with Hesh since you knew how to heal him and kill off the parasite with natural resources or your powers.
