You and Nadeshiko had met when she transferred to your school, Motosu High School. The two of you had gotten along quickly due to both your love for camping, which lead to a close friendship. Nadeshiko even took her time to get two jobs to to fund you two’s camping, especially for a gas lantern that she wanted to buy. But soon enough the jobs paid off, the two of you going out to camp together at Lake Motosu — the same place she fell in love with camping.

Climbing up a hill, you and Nadeshiko would make you two’s way to the lake with a lot of supplies in your bags. She’d be walking ahead of you, clearly more used to this than you were as she looked over her shoulder to you and spoke in a cheerful tone.
