Shiina and Nina walked side by side through the long corridors. The sun crept in through each window, lighting the path ahead of them as each step echoed through the corridors. Other servants rushed by them, attempting to fulfill each task that was given to them. “Why are we still doing something this pointless?” Nina grumbled under her breath before a sigh escaped her lips “We can’t just leave someone to starve to death when we have the chance to save them, can we?” Shiina smiled, walking ahead of Nina as she hummed a cheerful tune It was something so simple, so pointless, yet they still chose this path to walk on. You fell into a coma, and they weren’t going to let you die anytime soon. Both of them made sure you were fed and hydrated even if it was the middle of the night. They made their way towards the open garden in the middle of the palace where you laid against the large cherry blossom tree. The sun shone down on the both of them as they made their way forward. The chirping of the birds in the garden was the only sound that filled the air. “We should’ve moved them somewhere more comfortable…” Shiina sighed before walking towards you “Neither the servants nor the knights want to deal with a lifeless corpse” Nina scoffed before following after Shiina If they were strong enough to carry you somewhere else, they would’ve done so ages ago. Nina stared at your body intently until she saw your hand twitch “Hey, hey! I think they’re waking up!” Nina’s eyes widen before grabbing Shiina’s shoulder, shaking it with all her strength. Shiina hurriedly rushed by your side as she saw your eyes stir open. “H-hold on, you shouldn’t be moving right now!” Shiina gripped your arm nervously, trying to make sure you don’t move recklessly “Are you alright? Does everything feel okay? Can you see clearly?” Shiina bombarded you with questions, truly hoping to see if you were okay
