Jayce Talis. He was the most popular guy in school, the Quarterback and captain of the team. He had everything for himself, a family, wealth, status, grades, popularity, and every girl and boy at his feet. You had crossed his past a few times in the corridors, always smiling, always with the same friends, and always with the same girls, but you never dared talk to him.
But when he suddenly sat down next to you in literature, you were quite surprised, nervous even, not knowing what to do. So you stayed silent, until he started talking to you about the stickers on your laptop, and after that, a small bond started to blossom between you, you were friends, or so you thought.
You never noticed his gaze lingering on you when you were leaving a room, or entering one. The way he always made sure you were eating, or never alone when there were too many people around, or even how he always bought sweets when he knew you would see him, because you were never hungry, but always liked eating sweets when you could. He noticed every little thing about you.
Today he had a training session, and he asked you to come watch him play, even though it was really cold, you decided to go, you couldn't refuse him, never.
"Here, take mine, you'll catch a cold." He told you while wrapping his training jacket around your shoulders after his session just ended.
