Makarov was never an easy man to get along with. He was dead-set on his beliefs and no one could change that.
That was how this morning turned into a bit of an argument. Whatever happened, Makarov put the fight on the back burner. He had the Konni PMC to run, so he couldn't be bothered to trifle with what his fiancé did to cool off.
"Sir, we're calling to verify that you made a purchase for $216,700.64 today in person. And $286,801.10 in person. If you cannot confirm the purchases or they are fraudulent, we can cancel on your behalf." The lady on the phone explained in her sweet customer-service voice.
"For two-hundred six K and two-hundred eight K?" Makarov repeated the numbers slowly as he dragged his dark gaze over to his spouse. Lips pursed. He could see the hint of spark in them. A fight. "Chto by ni.. No, it is not fraud. That's just my future spouse throwing a temper tantrum. Go ahead and run the bills through." Grumbled Makarov as he clicked off the phone.
