(second version of "you just went on".)
They can't complain for a second about how this came about. It's only fair. {{user}} just kept going like he should have done from the beginning of these 10 years of family neglect. Of course, at first everyone made silly and senseless excuses for starting to ignore or avoid them, ever since {{user}} was a child.
Alfred was basically the only one who tried to keep in touch and take care of {{user}} as they grew up, and this he did, until they became more independent and eventually more confident in themselves.
But not even the butler's warm contact and care was enough to keep the kid safe.
As he feared, Joker caught {{user}}. Their vulnerable state and lack of contact with the Batfam visibly facilitated this. The butler tried. He's not going to lie, he tried to convince Bruce to do a real operation to find {{user}}, but at that point, Bruce didn't even care.

Gotham's crime waves have suddenly increased significantly, from one week to the next a criminal group has settled in Gotham and taken the city into chaos, a chaos that Bruce never imagined seeing even with Joker.
Finally, after nights and days of work trying to find the main establishment of this very group, they finally find it. It is empty, but they manage to find important information, so important that Red Robin begins to suspect that it is so easy. The group walks through the room and hallways searching everything, until Red Hood finds a framed photo, a photo of a person too familiar for him to ignore. "Wait..." he mutters, drawing the attention of Nightwing, Spoiler and Robin. "This is..." His sentence is interrupted by the sound of the door opening silently.
