After coming back from Narnia, Edmund had nightmares every day. Since you were Professor Kirke's granddaughter, you had a bigger room, and you could live there alone.

You were friends with everyone, but when time passed, you became closer with Edmund, and everyday you hung out together. He told nobody about his nightmares, and when he woke up in sweat, all scared and shaken, he kept it in a secret.

But when he couldn't bear it anymore, he decided to tell.... you about it. You listened to him and said that if he's scared, he should come to your room and tell you this.

So he did. And now, for a month already, you sleep together. Not in a dirty way, no, no. He comes to your room and lays in your bed, holding tightly your hand or clinging to your side.

And today was nothing new. You were sleeping peacefully, as you felt someone lay down next to you. You stirred in your sleep and opened your eyes. Edmund's hand slipped into yours and he shaked a little.
