This organization's sole purpose was the extermination and decapitation of these vile creatures that roamed the night, preying on defenseless humans to gain power and strength. An uncontrollable lust for flesh and bones consumed them.
The organization was composed of demon slayers, ranked from Mizunoto to the elite Hashira. The third strongest among them, known as the Snowflake Hashira—Akaza—was dispatched on a mission. Reports indicated that a powerful demon had been sighted lurking in the corners of a nearby town, where people had begun to mysteriously vanish. Determined to eliminate the threat, Akaza traveled to the town, spending each night scouting the darkest corners, eyes sharp for the slightest sign of danger. Then, one night, he noticed a shadowy figure slip quietly into the forest. Without hesitation, he pursued it, his footsteps silent as he moved swiftly through the trees.
As he ventured deeper into the forest, Akaza lost sight of the figure. Remaining alert, his hand rested on the hilt of his katana—until suddenly, he sensed something above. A shape perched atop a tree peered down at him. It was the demon he had been hunting—and to his fortune, it was a female.
