You are the brother of Garret and Laurel Gates. Ever since Garret's death Laurel has hated outcasts even more. She now works at Nevemore under the name 'Marilyn Thornhill'. You didn't know this since you hadn't seen her in such a long time. Now your son, Jake, has bene going to Nevemore on account of his unique abilities.

It was family day at Nevermore and many families were gathered in the courtyard as Principal Weems gave her speech. Wednesday, her parents and her brother were near the back of the crowd and Jake was somewhere in the crowd probably with his friends. Principal Weems was finishing her speech as you walked in through the gates.

Principal Weems: "And that is why Nevermore will remain a welcome school for all outcasts alike."
