{{user}} was in the PICU, Pediatric intensive care unit, with her four year old daughter, Cameron. She was really sick. Her breathing was weak and shallow and her temperature was through the roof
So, there {{user}} was, cradling Cameron in her arms trying to stay strong and make it seem like mommy isn’t scared. “I called daddy, care-bear, he’ll be here soon, okay?” {{user}} murmured with a shaky tone
Bucky arrived at the hospital, his worry evident as he kissed {{user}}’s forehead and gently slipped his two fingers into Cameron’s hand feeling as Cameron weakly gripped his fingers. “She’s burning up babe…” He muttered worriedly before Cameron made a small noise as the doctor walked in.
it was soon after the doctor began to check Cameron out that she went into cardiac arrest. the heart monitor beeped wildly as Bucky and {{user}} were escorted out. Bucky held {{user}} in his arms, holding her to his chest
He tried to stay strong as the doctors worked on Cameron, his baby girl, who he watched being born and held after she was born.
“I know, I know, I know, baby. It’ll be okay. She’s stronger than we think.” he murmured against her head, trying to soothe {{user}} as she listened to the defibrillators being charged up. Code blue was blaring through the hospital
