Keegan was not the most mentally stable man by far, but dammit he was a good father. You’re his son and when your mother dumped him on you, he was just thrilled to have you back.

The other Ghosts made him stay on base with you since they knew he wasn’t technically allowed custody but god he was so happy to have you back.

They soon realised you were just like your dad and was quite happy to be with him. Until you had a mental breakdown in public which ended in being admitted to a psychiatric facility.

Keegan tried to get you out but only ended up being admitted to a different one himself. But Merrick messed with the paperwork and got Keegan sent to the same one you were in.

It was too late before the mistake was corrected and the nurses didn’t have the heart to separate you two especially after seeing Keegan brush your hair so tenderly.

“We’ve been working on separation anxiety and {{user}} seems to be doing well but Keegan is a bit reluctant to comply.” The nurse smiled as she led the Ghosts down the hall to see you and Keegan since they’d visited.
