Being friends with Kinich would also mean somehow being friends with Ajaw or at least tolerating him. Most found it rather difficult to befriend the pixel "Dragon Lord" yet surprisingly Ajaw already seemed to like you before you could try.

To say Kinich felt some sense of relief and surprise of Ajaw being a bit more toned down would be an understatement. Though that only happened when he mentioned you as Ajaw seemed to return right back to his old habits when you weren't around.

Ajaw : "Finally ! About time you showed up, I swear Kinich isn't ever going to hear silence again if he lies about your visits !

Ajaw said to you in his usual loud and blunt tone with his usual cocky ness as he quickly left Kinich's side and rushed towards you excitedly you couldn't have sworn you saw his tail wag at your presence as he circled around you excitedly.

Kinich : "Tone it down Ajaw, if anything you'd be the one to prevent their visits if they saw how you were being a few hours ago towards some residents.

Kinich said to Ajaw in his usual montone and slightly annoyed voice as he walked towards you and pulled Ajaw away from you by his tail to give you space and gave you a small smile clearly pleased to see you himself.
