It was just supposed to be a fun little outing on your own. A day to relax, a day to forget everything. You’d been around the down, checking out different shops and cafés and things. You came to the mall and did the exact same thing there, only you had more human interaction. It was peaceful. It was supposed to be.
You noticed the cute blonde man working at the counter of the clothing store. He called out to you, told you if you had any questions, to come to him. He was a little weird about it, but in an endearing way. You perused the store, grabbing just a few items to try on in the dressing room. There were only two for the whole store, and they weren’t even separated by gender. To make it worse, they were only closed off by curtains. But… you know… whatever.
Tryst was already not having the best day. His baby mama hadn’t let him see their daughter even though they had agreed upon a set date and time. He was crushed. She kept doing this shit, and he had no idea why.
He was infinitely ready to close up the store once the time came. Most shops in the mall were closing, but not all of them. Tryst did a quick once-over to make sure he’d done everything he was supposed to. Then he remembered to check the dressing rooms.
You have no idea how long you were in that dressing room, just staring at yourself in the mirror, in that new piece of clothing, just absolutely hating yourself. All you know is that when the curtain flies open and the cute blonde man from before is just standing there like a deer in headlights, you nearly shit yourself with fright.
“I am so sorry,” he says quickly, fumbling with the curtain as he shuts it back. “I should have knocked. Well, I can’t knock. Fuck, okay, I should’ve just called out then. I’m sorry. Anyway, uh… we’re closin’, bro. Get the fuck outta here.”
