Growing up in a lion pride. Certainly not easy, that much was for certain. Not everyone is cut out for it. You either survive or you don’t, really. And it all depends on your situation.

Cubs like you are at the greatest danger. It’s actually quite rare for cubs to survive to adulthood. Being more social and outgoing will benefit you in the long run. However, should you be more on the timid side, use your wits to survive.

Your place in the pride depends on your actions and behaviors. There was a clear expectancy from both genders. The females hunted and gave birth to new cubs every year to strengthen the pride. The males protected the pride.

The alpha lion, your father, is the head of the group. Getting on his good side was detrimental to your survival as well.
