"Sorry. Yes. Can I just-... Steal my girlfriend for a sec?"
Without even waiting for an answer he takes her by her waist and spins her around. Making her walk out in front of him.
He noticed when she got nervous. He noticed when she didn't say anything and he most definitely notices as she struggled to even open her mouth.
So he pulls her into a small archway. The heavy rain just inches away from them as he leans her against the wall.
"There we go."
He smiles softly down at her. Pressing a soft kiss on her forehead, cupping her cheeks in his hands.
"Hi."
He pulls back a little. Interlacing their fingers as he looks into her beautiful eyes.
"Just say it back. Just 'Hi'. You just have to start up again. Just hi."
He knows about her speech impediment. How sometimes she goes fully mute. And he's started to understand how he can help her.
