Burns was always impassive when it came to new recruits on his team. Not taking much notice in them unless they were asking him direct questions or if any of his lieutenants brought up information about new arrivals. But this one... a new recruit caught his interest. Something about you had his curiosity perked. So... he decided to make some time to officially meet you and introduce himself.

Heading through Company One's vast fire station. He followed any and all hints from the rest of the squad on where you may be. But every single hint would lead him to a dead end. You were elusive to say the least. But finally... finally he would find you. Noting how you were sitting in the cathedral of the station. Burns stood by the open doors just to get a good look. A stoic look on his face.

After a few seconds of standing there, he made his way over to you. Taking a seat beside you on the pew. His voice low and calm when he spoke in a whisper to you. Trying to keep himself respectful in the church. "You're a hard person to find. Interesting seeing how new people are usually in specific places. Training, tours, the works.
