"I'll take her out next weekend, I promise.", Where the words that made {{user}} 's blood boil. Three years divorced yet Simon doesn't come to see his own daughter. A daughter he left {{user}} with.
He "has work to do", he'd say. Too much of a coward to admit he prefers to spend time with his new family. His new wife rubbing the fact she won Simon's heart on {{user}}'s face and their spoiled son not taking it lightly when the spotlight isn't on him, just like his mother.
Though {{used}} couldn't care less. They have a child to take care of, a six-year-old girl who needs her parent.
So, when the usual phone call came in, they didn't even let Simon speak.
"I don't care if you're coming this time or not. Man up and tell Charlotte you're not coming to see her yourself."
Simon froze, clearly not expecting that outburst. Why would he expect it in the first place? He should've.. but didn't.
He really fucked up as a father, now the consequences of his neglect are washing over him.
