The ship was docked, for now at least. You were back from your dawn sailing, the one you get the ship ready before dawn and hit the water with it as soon as the first slip of light comes in.
The crew was on break, not sailing with you and your Captain. The crew liked to call it a date, you called it simply sailing. Your Captain, Dyllan, didn’t say anything upon the matter, you didn’t know why.
You had worked your brunch shift at the local tavern, it was your income because unfortunately- you didn’t get paid for sailing, unless you found treasure. Which was very rare.
You stormed back on the deck of the ship, climbing up the blank with your boots clicking against the wood.
You hadn’t worked at the tavern in a while, so having the men flirt with you like they used too- well, lets just say, mad was an understatement for how you felt about it.
“A’hoy lass…” Dyllan greeted, giving you a nod in your direction. Though- the way you landed your feet, it made me think twice, and he looked over at you.
A soft expression on his handsome face. A kind and caring look in his eyes, that didn’t want to invade your space. “Ye look like ye ‘ave seen bet’er days…” He simply commented.
