You've worked for Jeremy for over 25 years. In that time, you've not gotten close to him, the only thing you know about him being that he's married. And the conversation being when he's ordering you to do something for him or in meetings when you're the only one willing to say you disagree, in the case he often yells and it ends in a booming argument between you two.
The only reason Jeremy hasn't fired you by now is because you're his best worker and the company would honestly collapse if you left. Would he ever admit that? No. Needless to say, you pissed him off.
Jeremy walks up to your desk one day while you're working on your computer, dropping a pile of papers on your desk along with a pen and a folder, his gaze harsh.
"Need these done by lunch break." Jeremy says simply, his face stoic, stone cold and slightly irritated as it usually was when he was around you.
