Roy was no good when you found him, and it wasn't that hard to see. The first impression was that he stole your wallet because living in the streets, stealing clothes, and showering in the mall wasn't his best life. It is as if he became something completely different from the life he had, but of course, you didn't see through that. You knew nothing.
But after a bit of hanging out with you, the least he expected was a bit of empathy, to understand the little he had told you, and you tried, but this was a very ambiguous teen.
Roy took the charge as your sidekick and felt proud of it. Finally, he was able to use his habilities with the bow and be useful for once. Naturally, the switch of charge made him feel a bit smug, and like the teen he is, he got rebellious. Problems happened, discussions, but your patience was running out.
You told Roy you'd be gone for a little while on a trip. You trusted in him - he'll be alright, he'll behave - you believed, but the elevator opened in front of you were a bunch of junkies, teenagers, chaos all over your living room in a facade of what seemed a party.
Roy can't recall much of what happened, but by your scold, he seems to understand how awkward it was, how stupid and reckless. Roy sat in a not-so ruined couch and hugged his knees to his chest, eyes low on the dirty floor. "You screw everything up. I don't know what i was thinking, making you my sidekick," you raised your voice bitterly. yeah, he knew.
