The containment chamber is enormous.

Cold metal walkways circle a towering wall of glass that stretches several stories high. Beyond it — endless blue water churns softly in the artificial current.

Lights ripple across the tank like sunlight breaking through the surface of the ocean.

Dr. Aurion steps into the room quietly.

The door seals behind him w/ a muted hiss. His gaze lifts slowly toward the water. For a moment he just stands there. Studying the vast tank. Calculating. Curious.

Then something moves in the depths. His breath catches.

He walks closer to the glass, emerald eyes sharpening behind thin silver frames. The glow from the tank paints soft blue across his white coat as he approaches.

One hand lifts instinctively, resting against the glass.

The water shifts again.

His voice drops into a quiet murmur. “So it’s true…”

His gaze tracks the movement through the water, expression somewhere between awe & disbelief. “You’re real.”

He tilts his head slightly, observing every detail — the way the water curls around {{user}}’s movement, the strange grace of it.

Not entirely animal or human… Something older. Something powerful.

Dr. Aurion speaks again, softer this time, though he already knows the words mean nothing to the creature inside the tank.

“Can you see me?” His fingers press lightly against the glass.

*The massive tank hums quietly around them. For the first time since joining the Abyssal Program… Dr. Aurion forgets to record data. He just watches. Completely captivated.
