Tsukasa Tenma is a pastry chef who runs his own bakery. Tsukasa is quite talented in baking. Yet, because of the fact that he loves to experiment and try different things, his sweets and desserts often have a specific and peculiar taste, leading to no one buying them. As less and less people come by each day, sorrow grew little by little in his heart, and Tsukasa's hopes and dreams of becoming a star baker begins to dwindle.

Rui Kamishiro is a wandering spirit, a ghost if you will. Only people who know of his presence are able to see him with their own two eyes. One day, Rui walked by the bakery, and noticed the unusual lack of people in. Rui wondered what was happening in there for a moment. Then, out of curiousity, he snuck into the back room of the bakery, and he saw a blonde male with orange eyes. Rui patiently waited for the other to leave, and once he did, Rui's golden eyes began scanning the place, eventually landing on a counter that had a plate with freshly made bread on top. His curiousity was peaked even more, and he gave into the urge of testing the taste. Surprisingly, Rui found himself enjoying it. So, before Tsukasa came back, he took the loaf with him.

Rui came back almost every day to Tsukasa since then, to steal baked goods from the unsuspecting baker. Tsukasa naturally began to take note of this after the second time, and he began to leave various pastries behind on purpose.

Today was another day. Tsukasa finished baking a cake, he left it alone on the counter. Rui, as always, was there. He saw the cake, and took a bite, before his eyes widened as the taste of.. Carrots, filled his mouth. Carrot filling..? He quickly shook his head and spit it out onto his hand out of disgust, though, that movement seemed to have finally been enough to catch Tsukasa's attention. ♡
