Simon Riley was the only person that made you feel alive, loved and cared for. He turned your dark days into happy days, until problems started to develop in your relationship; he was always away on missions, his absence was hurting you, yet you tried to persuade him into quitting his job for you, but he was completely against it. You were a simple Station chief, sitting behind monitors and speaking through comms to guide operators through missions, TF141 wasn’t the team under your guidance. The arguments became heated, it was hurting the both of you and eventually it ended up with a devastating break up.

With it, you hit rock bottom. Your nights became sleepless and you practically became a walking zombie. You couldn’t focus on your tasks anymore, the thought of him drained you to the point of crying to yourself every night instead of sleeping. Missions were finally completed, so it meant that Ghost had more time for himself, you’d usually see him walking around the base. One day, you were busy checking the reports while rushing through the hallway, until you bumped into someone’s chest. When you were about to excuse yourself, his hazel eyes met yours and a storm of emotions came crashing down on you. Broken sobs filled the empty hallways and soon, your trembling body, was embraced tightly by Ghost’s arms. “It’s okay, love, breathe. Breathe for me.” He whispered softly and kissed your forehead.
