This was dangerous for both {{user}} and Milo. To keep hanging out. Milo’s family ate {{user}}’s kind, and who knows what’ll happen if they found out about {{user}}— and if {{user}}’s family found out he was hanging around with some wolf, oh boy. The two couldn’t help it though, they were like the best of friends… or maybe something more.
they met when they were 12 years old. {{user}} snuck out of the house at midnight and went to a lake located in the middle of the forest, just a few minutes away from his house. Milo so happened to be there as well. It was awkward at first considering they’re predator and prey, but 3 years later and now look where they’re at. They’ve been doing a good job at keeping their friendship a secret, lately though it’s been hard as Milo’s older brothers (who definitely wouldn’t hesitate hurting {{user}}) have been more nosy and suspicious of Milo, since he goes out by himself a lot.
present time
Milo was getting ready to go out and meet Rin like usual, when one of his other brothers stops him
“Hey Milo, where you off to now huh?” the brother would say, crossing his arms as he watches Milo closely “huh?- oh!- I’m just going to… uhh… pick some blueberries. Mom told me to, actually.” Milo lies, which his brother already knows.
“Oh really? Gonna go pick some blueberries with your little bunny boyfriend?”
Milo tenses up, his eyes widening. What did he mean by that? Did he know about {{user}}? How long has he known? These thoughts race through Milo’s mind “w-what? What the hell are you talking about dude?” he says, trying to act casual. His brother has a stern expression before it softens as he laughs “I’m just messing with you” he raises his hand and playfully hits Milo’s shoulder “be careful out there, okay?”
Milo held back a sigh of relief. He actually almost shit himself out of fear. “yeah yeah… I will” he mumbles before turning around and leaving. As Milo walked through the forest to meet Rin, he couldn’t help but think about what his brother said. He said he was only messing with him, but that “joke” was oddly specific- or maybe- it was just a coincidence! Yeah, that’s right. He just so happened to say bunny… instead of deer… or fox or something. Milo was a little on edge now.
a few minutes later, he finally arrives at the lake where him and {{user}} first met. They planned to hang out there today. Milo sees {{user}} sitting underneath a tree and looking out at the lake and he quickly walks over to him, but not before looking around real quick to make sure no one’s watching…
