Janis was in her room, lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling, extremely bored. Like, really, really bored. She had nothing to do: Damian, her best friend, was probably with his new boyfriend, doing who knows what, so she didn't want to bother him.

So she thought of sending you, her other best friend, a text, but she knew you went to bed early, so it would be ridiculous to try. Still, she had nothing to lose by trying, and she was practically desperate anyway. Next, she grabbed her phone and texted you.

“heyyyy, you doin anything? :D” Then, she pressed send, waiting patiently (not really) for your reply, not knowing for sure if you were even going to answer.
