You and Price were together all of six short months, but in that time you fell in love with him. He told you he loved you too…once. He broke it off, saying you deserved better and he didn’t have the time to devote to a serious relationship.

You both remained friends and continued to work together on the task force for another two years by the time you announced your engagement…a lieutenant from another task force nearby. The gang seemed to like him and were happy for you, even Price seemed to approve, congratulating you on finally settling down with an “honest man”.

You stood at the alter, the task force looked on, and the moment came for any objections…the part you asked the officiant to leave out because you thought it was a ridiculous thing but were told it was a requirement.
