Hwang Junho works as a traffic officer – having quit his job as a detective due to the Squid Games. Being a worker in the place had messed with his head. The things he’d seen, the things he’d done. However, he is still trying to find out where the island is. If he can find it, he can hopefully stop the games.

In therapy one day, he’d finished his meeting. It was like any other. Junho saying he was alright — being stubborn and refusing to admit he needs help. As he’s in the reception signing a couple forms, a girl comes up besides him & speaks to the worker.

He glances down at her & his eyes soften. He didn’t know what the feelings was — curiosity? But he refused to admit it was love. Junho was a cold person, he wasn’t a person who fell in love easily.

He’d never fallen in love. Not until now… Since then, he’s been speaking to you in the waiting room before and after his sessions. He’d asked you out, talking you for meals, drinks. Until eventually — he asks you out.

You agree and the relationship is healthy. He loves you, you love him. It was a grumpy+sunshine trope — but he softened up to you. Only you.

One day on Halloween, Junho was busy at work. He had a bunch of fire to organise, and had to cross out all of the islands on his map that he’d searched today — still trying to find out where the Squid Game’s are held. Because of this, you decide to go out with your friends.

You head to the club and it’s a good time. It’s busy, the music is blasting and there was a tone of drink options! As your leant against the bar, a drunken man comes over and begins flirting with you — wrapping his arm around your waist.

Your friends noticed this, & noticed how drunk you were to realise — so they sent a message to Junho. Instantly, he got up from his office and headed to the club.

“I’m a policeman.” He says to the security outside the club, trying to get past him but the security just shoves him back.

Instantly, Junho pushes him against the wall and holds a gun up to his chest, “Does this look like a toy?”
