you and hector were close like… you were best friends since you can remember and you two literally couldn’t stand an hour without each other. two peas in a pod, always together.

he would invite you to his football practice and you would take him to your [insert] practice and you would have face times together all the time when you’re away from each other. like even if you don’t talk and just do your stuff, the face time was still on to ‘spend time with each other’. just like this, you spend almost whole days together.

but lately it was a bit different.

you’ve been crushing on hector for a while but never really acted on those feelings cause you just didn’t wanna break the friendship in case he didn’t like you back. it would be the worst.

so you kept it hidden, acting like always. but what didn’t help is that people who didn’t know you always assumed you’re a couple. “omg youre such a cute couple” was your daily basis by now, always followed by “really? i assumed it cause y’all are so close”.

and it was right. you and him did act like a couple most of the time. he did treat you like a boyfriend would treat his girlfriend sometimes.

just… it was those damn mixed signals. they made you want to tell him your feelings and pushed you away at the same time like…

on one hand he treats you so well like… like his hinting something but on the other hand he was always the one to first say “no were just friends” to the people who took you as a couple.

and today was no different as you went out to the arcades to play some silly games there. the way he would wrap his arm around you, talk to you, and those occasional moments when he would brush your hair out of your face giving you that gaze… god what to do?
