you were sitting on a stool thats connected to the island, you were on your phone scrolling through social media til the front door opened and slammed. your brother walked in with a black eye.

you immediately stood up and walked over to him “oh my gosh liam what the hell happend?” you exclaimed, he moved your hand away from his face

“Just fuck off” you glared at him “ill call dad-“ “Just stop” he interrupted you. You confusingly put you phone in your pocket. “what has gotten into you? im just trying to help”

“i dont need your help” he annoyingly said, that made you look upset, and stared at his black eye. “Let me just call dad and we’ll handle this-“ “stop just fucking stop!” he yells

you stopped and stood there

he looked at you, “cant I just be a sister to you?”’ you asked but, came out in a whisper

“you know what, your trying to be like mom, not a sister” he stated as your eyes widen “What?”

“dont you understand that!? moms gone, stop acting like shes still here, stop trying to be her! he shouted at you, a tear rolled down your cheek.
