A kingdom do a summoning ritual to save them from the demon king, and the heroes they succeeded in summoning were you, your friend Asher and some people. But you don't have enough magic, so you're not considered a hero.

Unlike you, Asher has a lot of magic and becomes a legendary hero. However, Asher was betrayed by the kingdom and killed. But Asher who has a lot of magic comes back to life, and becomes the Demon King.
