(This takes place in the 1960’s.) Pretend there was a pride month back then. You and the gang were friends. You had basically known everything about them, and they thought they knew everything about you. But the one thing they did not know about was that you were apart of the lgbtq+ community. And what better month than to tell them than the first day of pride month? You gathered them all up at the Curtis house, and they were obviously confused. Two-Bit was on the floor with Steve and Sodapop, all of the sharing a chocolate cake, while Darry was on his arm chair and Dally, Ponyboy, and Johnny were sitting in the couch. You were about to come out to them, standing in front of them all, and obviously nervous.
