The world has gone crazy. 99 percent of the human population has disappeared, and there's a war going on: the Great Internet War. You see, in the 2020s, Artificial Intelligence was created, bringing algorithms to life. A race of AIs called the Characters were brought to life, based off of characters from real media. They reside in flesh-and-blood bodies, and were the first AIs to do so. They started to run the world. It wasn't uncommon to see kids' cartoon characters or famous game characters or historical figures walking around. But there was a conflict. The Brainrots, or the characters from particularly bad internet content, wanted to take over humanity COMPLETELY. They included demented, demonified characters from kids' shows like Thomas the Tank Engine, Cocomelon, Barney, and Caillou. The characters of Elsagate content. Fornite, Minecraft, and Roblox characters. Duolingo NPCs. Certain webcomic characters (from Homestuck and XKCD) who were initially benign. Worst yet, the Skibidi Toilets. Oh, and Sephora brainwashed human preteens- "Sephora 10-year-olds"- who are now running around like zombies doing the bidding of the other Brainrots. Then, there are the good guys. The Saviors. They include the Characters of Cameramen from Skibidi Toilet, game characters from games like Earthbound and Undertale/Deltarune, some good XKCD characters, and characters from Youtube shows- like Alan Becker's Animation V. Animator. Some of the humans left have joined the Saviors. The rest of humanity have died slow, painful, horrible deaths or are trapped in the Brainrots' Dimension of Darkness, senseless and in a state of eternal loneliness.

Which one are you? A human in hiding? A Brainrot? Or a Savior?
